We are contacting you to offer advanced ticket sales to our annual dinner. This year's event will be held in the newly constructed event center and promises to be a festive evening 
as we honor this year's inductees. There is going to be great food, exciting raffle prizes and special customized gifts. We expect this event to be a sellout again this year!

AFA Announces the Semi-Pro Football Hall of Fame - "Class of 2013"
The AFA's Hall of Fame selection committee has completed its annual task of reviewing personal profiles of qualified individuals nominated for induction into the Semi-Pro/Minor League Football Hall of Fame as the "Class of 2013". Information submitted by HOF alumni and subsequent review by the selection committee resulted in the selection of 20 people for enshrinement this year. Now Soliciting 2013 AFA Team & League Membership Applications Team Membership applications are now being accepted for the 2013 season. We are proud to have the National Public SafetyEmpire Football Ironman Football  and Mason Dixon Football Leagues as the first leagues to join as members to join for 2013.

Hong Kong's Cobras Lose American Football Match to Philippine Punishers Again 

It was another disappointing encounter for the Hong Kong Cobras when they recently played the third match in a four-match series against the Philippine Punishers at the Man Tung Road Park, Tung Chung. The Cobras-Hong Kong's leading geared American football team-had practised hard since their 32-12 loss against the Punishers in Hong Kong in August 2012.

  

If you feel the need to scratch your football itch, you can do so tonight (Friday) up in Kenosha.

At 7:30 p.m., the Kenosha Cougars will face the Racine Gladiators in a Gridiron Football League semi-pro football game at Indian Trail High School.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Six years before he broke baseball's color barrier, Jackie Robinson broke tackles playing semi-pro football in Hawaii. He stayed at Palama Settlement, where an autographed photograph of him hangs prominently on a wall of fame. "It says, 'To our pals. Best of luck. Jack Robinson,' executive director Jean Evans said.

Sports Concussion? Use Mobile Phone App Phone Diagnosis

Use the our collection of apps to ask a series of questions and the app will decide the chances that a player has actually suffered a concussion. The questions used come directly from the Centers for Disease Control. This app has a list of symptoms that will help in the decision to remove a player from a game or seek medical attention.  In fact, it has a "Return to Play" feature helping you decide when to allow the player to return to practice and game status.  Also comes with a feature to email a doctor, if further medical advice is needed. Just click Smartphone App to download....
