August 7th, 2013 Following the model we've implemented for our general liability insurance, the American Football Association has made the Aflac Accident Plan available to purchase at a member discount. As an AFA member you now have access to discounted rates for Aflac benefits available to you. This Accident Plan pays you cash for services you or a family member may have due to any injury and pays cash dollar amounts for different treatments. This plan is perfect for football players needing accident coverage and was a direct result of an ESPN OTL segment in August 2012 we participated in. New To All Members Aflac Accident Plan  Since you are an AFA Member Team, there are special opportunities for billing allowing team owners to collect/pay for their players vs. players having to provide bank drafts/credit cards on an individual basis. As an owner/coach, you have the flexibility of integrating this into your program's existing player fee and along with the uniform and other equipment assessments.  However, if this option scenario does not work for your program and players want to signup individually, we can accommodate that also. Aflac Accident Insurance is endorsed as an AFA national initiative.
