Email: Amerfoot@aol.com | | Football at a Crossroads: "Semi-Pro" Football David Burch, Chris Stepp and Kevin Van Valkenburg join "Outside the Lines" to discuss the dangers of average Joes gathering to play what they call "semi-pro" football. I had the pleasure of being invited by ESPN to participate in a panel discussion August 29th on their Outside The Lines program segment. This program covered the topic "The World of Semi Pro Football. Focusing on who plays and the death of a player in a game........." Since this program aired, our office has received some very interesting feedback from around the nation. An overwhelming number of responses stated that this segment did not truly reflect the typical semipro/minor league football team. To view the video broadcast, read some of the comments/share your comments, just click here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70-H2Mux3ss. Don't forget to forward this to a friend for their feedback also! We also plan further follow up on this issue/discussion by sending a formal survey out to collect data that will further facilitate improvements to our level of football. |
